Ambassador Suzuki's attendance at Japan House London’s opening event of “Pictograms: Iconic Japanese Designs”
2025/7/29

On 29 July, Ambassador Hiroshi Suzuki attended the preview and opening event of the exhibition Pictograms: Iconic Japanese Designs at Japan House London.
This exhibition delves into the essence of Japanese design by showcasing the history and cultural background of pictograms, exploring their fundamental design structures and production processes, and examining the future of visual communication. Through 3D pictograms and interactive displays, visitors can immerse themselves in the world of pictograms and even create their own original designs.
During the opening event, which was also attended by Mr Daigo Daikoku, Board Member of Nippon Design Center USA, Ambassador Suzuki gave welcoming remarks. He expressed his hope that visitors would experience the appeal of pictograms, an element deeply connected to the concept of universal design, through the exhibition.
The exhibition runs from 30 July to 9 November. For more information, please visit the Japan House London website.
