Ambassador Suzuki’s attendance at the Opening Day of The Grand Sumo Tournament in London

On 15 October, Ambassador Hiroshi Suzuki attended the opening day of The Grand Sumo Tournament held at the Royal Albert Hall in London. The Grand Sumo Tournament in London will run for five days from 15 to 19 October, 2025. This marks the first time in 34 years that a Grand Sumo event has been held in the UK, following the last tournament in 1991.
Prior to the bout, Ambassador Suzuki attended a reception where he encouraged the participating wrestlers, including Yokozuna Hoshoryu and Yokozuna Onosato. During the bouts, he cheered enthusiastically for all the wrestlers alongside the full house of spectators.
