On 15 January, Ambassador Hiroshi Suzuki had a meeting with the Rt Hon Pat McFadden MP, Secretary of State for Work and Pensions. During the meeting they exchanged a wide range of views on matters including labour and working environments, as well as the pensions system, with a view to share insights and enhance cooperation between the two nations. They also discussed the contribution of Japanese companies to job creation in the UK.
