Ambassador Suzuki’s attendance at opening ceremony for new Fujifilm facility

On 11 February, Ambassador Hiroshi Suzuki attended the opening ceremony of Fujifilm's biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
The ceremony was also attended by His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Edward, Dr Zubir Ahmed MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Technology, Innovation and Safety, and Mr Chris McDonald MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State (Minister for Industry), along with many other distinguished guests.
In his remarks, Ambassador Suzuki stated that the facility would help create a powerful ecosystem for innovative drug development - one that would position this region as a global hub for life sciences, and that Fujifilm would be at the heart of this exciting future.
