Japan–UK AI Cooperation Promotion Event

On 13 March, the Embassy of Japan, in collaboration with JETRO, hosted the “Japan–UK AI Cooperation Promotion Event ”.
The event introduced recent policy developments in the field of AI in both Japan and the UK, as well as ongoing research and industrial initiatives. Presentations and a talk session were also held on the UK’s deep-tech ecosystem and emerging technological trends among startups.
The event brought together government officials, academics, startups, and industry representatives from both Japan and the UK, providing an opportunity to exchange views on the potential for further research collaboration and business partnerships between the two countries in the field of AI.
