Ambassador and Madame Suzuki’s visit to Windsor and Eton College

On 20 April, Ambassador and Madame Suzuki visited Windsor Great Park to view the sakura cherry trees planted by the Sakura Cherry Tree Project, and visited Eton College where they met with school officials.
Under the guidance of Keeper of Gardens, Mr John Anderson, Ambassador and Madame Suzuki, along with members of the Sakura Cherry Tree Project, viewed the sakura cherry trees planted in Windsor Great Park provided by the project.
Ambassador and Madame Suzuki also visited Eton College. They visited the College buildings and the Chapel. During their visit, they viewed historical collections related to Japan that the college holds and observed a Japanese language lesson.
Afterwards, Ambassador and Madame Suzuki discussed educational exchanges between Japan and the UK with the Vice Provost of Eton College, Mr Peter McKee.
