Ambassador Suzuki's attendance at the Epsom Derby

On 6 June, Ambassador Hiroshi Suzuki attended The Derby at Epsom Downs Racecourse. The Epsom Derby, founded in 1780, is one of the most famous horse races in the world and has been held annually in early June for almost 250 years.
Ambassador Suzuki presented Japanese whisky to the winning jockey, owner and horse trainer of a race sponsored by the Japanese Racing Association (JRA). During the event, Ambassador Suzuki discussed Japan-UK horse racing exchange with event organiser representatives from The Jockey Club and the British Horseracing Authority.
