Prime Minister Takaichi’s visit to the United Kingdom (13-14 June 2026)

From 13 to 14 June, Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi visited London.
On 14 June, Prime Minister visited Westminster Abbey and laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior. She then held a summit meeting with the Rt Hon Sir Keir Starmer MP, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, followed by a working lunch. Prime Minister Takaichi then attended the Japan-UK Business Roundtable and a signing ceremony, followed by a business reception.
