Ambassador Suzuki’s attendance at the Annual General Meeting of The Japan Society

On 23 July, Ambassador Hiroshi Suzuki attended the Annual General Meeting of The Japan Society, held at the Embassy.
The Japan Society, established in 1891 with the aim of strengthening friendship between Japan and the UK, has a long and distinguished history, and Ambassador Suzuki currently serves as its President.
In his remarks, Ambassador Suzuki expressed his appreciation to Chairman Greg Clark and staff for their dedication in supporting the activities of the Japan Society. Referring to Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi's visit to the UK in June, Ambassador Suzuki also paid tribute to The Japan Society for its long-standing contribution to strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
