Foreign Minister’s Commendation - Professor Mikael Adolphson

On 16 October, Ambassador Hiroshi Suzuki presented the Foreign Minister’s Commendation to Professor Mikael Adolphson, Keidanren Professor of Japanese Studies at the University of Cambridge, at the Embassy of Japan.
Professor Adolphson has greatly contributed to the development of Japanese Studies in the UK through his teaching and research at the University of Cambridge, and has supported collaborative research between the University of Cambridge and Japanese companies and research institutions by establishing the Japan Global Research Centre.
At the ceremony, Ambassador Suzuki paid tribute to Professor Adolphson’s achievements and expressed his hope for his continued success.
Professor Adolphson reflected on his work over the years and expressed his gratitude to those who have supported him.
