Open Day: KASHIMA - Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force Training Squadron vessel visits London

KASHIMA, one of the Training Squadron vessels of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) will make a port call in London and will stay by the HMS Belfast in the River Thames from Sunday 31 July to Wednesday 3 August, 2016. It is currently undertaking an ocean voyage training programme along with other vessels across the globe, which began on 20 May and runs until 4 November.
 
This is the very first time that the JMSDF training vessel will visit London via the Thames.  On Sunday 31 July, Tower Bridge will be raised at 13:00 on the arrival of KASHIMA. The vessel will then be moored alongside the HMS Belfast at 13:15.

KASHIMA will hold an Open Day for the public on Tuesday 2 August, 2016. Details are as follows:

3 Admission Fee: Adult £16,Child (Age 5 to 15) £8
