The Manga Jiman competition has run yearly since 2007, seeking to encourage and provide a platform for manga creating talent in the UK. As an image-led story telling medium, manga creators must excel in both telling gripping stories, and laying out visually interesting panels and scenes. The exhibition of the shortlisted entries to the 13th edition of the competition are on display at the embassy from Monday 3 February, ahead of revealing the overall winner on social media and online on Friday 14 February. The shortlisted entries will be available to read in full, and the exceptional range of stylistic and storytelling talent here in the UK will be on display. There will also be a chance to see segments from all of the entries to the 13th edition of the competition, and you are encouraged to show off your own artistic talents by contributing to our manga wall.
