Farewell to Ambassador Nagamine

We bid farewell to Ambassador Nagamine who joined us at the Embassy of Japan in the UK at the end of November 2019. Although it has been a relatively short stay in the UK, Ambassador Nagamine has hosted and participated in many events, including the launch of the Sakura Cherry Tree Project, the flagship event of the Japan-UK Season of Culture.
Most recently, Ambassador visited Wales this month where, as well as participating in a Cherry Tree planting ceremony, he also met with First Minister Mark Drakeford.
We wish Ambassador Nagamine success upon his return to Japan.
