The Japan Society
Founded in 1891, The Japan Society is the longest established and principal organisation involved in Anglo-Japanese relations in Britain. It has a wide basis of membership and no sectarian interests. Membership is open to all as individuals or as companies.
Great Britain Sasakawa Foundation
A registered UK charity which aims to develop Japan-UK relations by advancing the education of the people of both countries in each other's culture, society and achievements. Also provides financial support for activities in areas such as youth exchange, science, the arts, health and environment.

Japanese Chamber of Commerce & Industry in the UK (JCCI)
Set up in 1959, initially as the Japanese Chamber of Commerce in London and changing to its present name in 1974. Its purpose is to promote and extend economic relations and trade between Japan and the UK and to promote the interestes of Japanese business in the UK.
The Japan Library Group UK (JLG)
Founded in 1966, the original objectives of the JLG were to pool experience and resources in the development of holdings of Japanese language materials (both serials and monographs) for Japanese Studies in national and university libraries in Britain, and to foster fluent communication between librarians and the academics.
