Happy New Year from all of us at JICC! We hope that 2022 will be a successful and fruitful year for all our subscribers. We start the year with a newly designed JAPAN-UK Events Calendar which can be found here. Make sure to bookmark and check regularly for the latest updates on Japan-related events happening around the UK! We also welcome applications from people who are planning events. Our current exhibition ASH, EMBER, FLAME - a Japanese kiln in Oxford has reopened after the winter break and we hope as many people as possible can visit! For more details and for how to book please check here. Our webmagazine this month also features an interview with director of the Oxford kilns project, Dr Robin Wilson. Read the interview in full here. Although the exhibition space is open our JICC library remains closed for the time being.
